About Us

Feel Like A Pro is a family owned and operated business, based out of Northern Califronia. Started by Brian Bartlow in 2009, it was purchased by Dave and Guru Niyam Seyl in 2013.

David Seyl and the Feel Like A Pro Fleet

Dave served 20 years in the US Air Force and is now retired from flying, but is thrilled to be able to spend his days working out at various racetracks around California. Motyorcycles have always been a passion of his, along with airplanes. Dave has raced with GSMRR, AFM, and WERA West. His motorcycles have included YSR50, Yamaha R6, Honda F4, GSXR 1000, Ninja 250, Ninja 300, and of course the Ninja 400!

"After riding many motorcycles in my day, I have had the MOST FUN riding the light weight Ninjas." ~DS

Guru Niyam Seyl at the Sacramento International Motorcycle Show 2015

Guru Niyam has been by Dave's side since 2001. A former computer engineer and fire fighter, she now helps out full time with Feel Like A Pro. Guru Niyam has also raced YSR's with GSMRR. She has done track days on all of her bikes, as well as Dave's R6 and GSXR1000. Her motorcycles have included YSR50, SV650, Ninja 250, and Ninja 300, and Ninja 400.

"The Ninja 300 was always fun to ride, but the Ninja 400 is a BLAST on the track!." ~GNK

Pat with a Ninja 300

After a 24 year career in the U.S. Air Force, Pat Corcoran came on board with Feel Like A Pro. You will see him out at the track taking care of the bikes. Away from the track, Pat is the owner of Rattler's Rock LLC, where we send all the Feel Like A Pro Ninja 400's for service.

Tiffany Ford with a Ninja 400

Tiffany is a regular member of the crew during race weekends with the AFM. Other than motorcycles, Tiffany loves football and basketball. A Navy bratt growing up, she is completly devoted to her family and country.

Pat, Ed, Kirk, and Dave

Another career veteran of the U.S. Air Force, you will see Ed at the AFM rounds helping keep all the Feel Like A Pro riders ready for racing. Away from the track Ed works for Alaska Airlines.

Kirk is a former AFM class champion and a regular in the Feel Like A Pro pits. His experience and coaching help riders improve each time out on the track. Away from Feel Like A Pro, Kirk owns his on business and is a MotoAmerica mechanic.
